  1. Find a discount drug program at one of your favorite local retailers
  1. Find an assistance program to help you get the medications you need

About the Compare Drug Prices Section of the Website

About the Drugs
The drugs selected for price comparison include 150 of the most commonly prescribed drugs in Michigan’s Medicaid formulary. The strength and quantities of the drugs reflect the most typical results for a 30-day supply or the most frequently billed quantities.

About the Pricing
The prices listed on Michigan Drug Prices.com are a guide to compare prices not a guarantee of a particular price. Pricing information is based on paid Medicaid claims submitted by participating pharmacies. The prices listed are the retail price for generic drugs. If no generic drug price is available then brand name drug pricing is used. The prices listed are from the most current survey but retail prices are constantly changing and your local pharmacy may change its prescription drug prices more frequently than this site can be updated.

Call Ahead Before You Shop
It’s always a good idea to call ahead to your pharmacy to check the current price before shopping.

About Retail Drug Discount Programs

Drug discount cards, retail drug discount programs, and other programs may offer substantial savings from retail prices. To view a list of retail drug discount programs in Michigan, click here.

About Assistance Programs
